How I work
I’m Ali AlQattan, a software engineer in Manama, Bahrain. I build the guardrails that let AI agents work on a bank’s production cloud, and the agent tooling I run after hours. I build by directing AI coding agents and own the requirements, design, integration, verification and operation of what ships.
Proof you can open
A demo you cannot visit does not count. Everything on this site runs from a Mac I administer, redeploys when I push, and links to the live thing or the code. If a repo is private, its page says so.
Own the whole system
Requirements, architecture, code, CI, release, and the check that proves it works. Vox is a daemon, an MCP adapter, hotkeys, a watchdog and a diagnostics command, because a voice runtime is all of those, not a script.
Audited by default
Inside a licensed bank since November 2022: a change nobody can trace did not happen. Terraform over console clicks, pipelines over hands, scripted audits checked against the manual results before they replace them.
Agents are infrastructure
Tools that coding agents depend on have to be boring, local and tested. Vox refuses to start if a speech endpoint is not loopback; in room, one filter sits in front of every rendered field.
